To achieve a safe working environment, we have combined resources and experience to initiate an aggressive training program, open communication and increased on-site inspections. By advancing safety practices we are advancing our company's growth.
In 2008, an annual training program has been implemented with curriculum from the basic safety principals of OSHA up to and including Management Safety Responsibility. We have created a stair-step training program. As our employees progress upward through the company so does the training in safety and job application. Training sessions include specialty areas of advanced fall protection, H2S, and well control, vital to the oil industry. Recently, we have partnered with a local community college to offer a basic "rough neck" course for new employee's coming into the industry.
Increased on site inspections for safety compliance gives an insight on how our training affects the workplace. After the training comes the practical application of it at the worksite. Site visits give both the employee and safety an opportunity to answer questions and exchange view points and experiences. Communication is a vital part of any Safety Program. It is through communication that a level of understanding and respect is developed between field personnel and Safety Compliance. Through education, communication and on-site practices, comes the safe, effective and cooperative field operations that stimulate our company's growth.
